Sunflower provides the latest antibacterial and antifungal surface technology
in its high pressure laminates (HPL)and Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC).
We do this during the manufacturing process by infusing the antibacterial and antifungal treatment while treating the papers.
It effectively inhibits the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria and fungus,
while maintaining the original physical and structural properties of the products.
The effect is sustained throughout the life of the product and is unaffected from cleaning and frequent use.
Sunflower incorporates this treatment in all its standard MFC and HPL products, in all colors and surface finishes (excluding Metallic HPL)
and complies with the JIS Z 2801 standard (antibacterial) and ASTM G21 (antibacterial).
